The place of Fedor Dostoevskiy`s birth mysteriously passed through all his professional and private life. He could start his life only on Bogedomka street at the one of the wings of the Mariinskaya Hospital, the place that cherished homeless persons from all parts of Moscow. Look at this building ensemble, created by Swiss architect Domenico Gilardi in 1805, its straight classic lines and old watch lions sleeping on the gates. However, the most exciting thing is concealed inside the hospital: the lovely church, which dome is seen only by high-flying birds.
