Prechistenka street

At the beginning of  20 century the middle class grown strongly in  Russian society. These people couldn't afford a private residence in Moscow, but they willingly purchased large flats in rich apartment buildings. Therefore the construction boom was dramatic and created different opinions among Moscow inhabitants. However, no one could deny the fact, that the mastery and creativity of the architects of these times were terrifically immense. I would like to show you one of the most beautiful buildings, constructed by L. Kekushev on Prechistenka street in 1906. Today, it still looks absolutely gorgeous with its opulent decor, made in Modern style. Moreover, each apartment of this building has a unique chimney and an exit to the backstairs. Apart from that, only two flats are on each floor.
